We are excited to invite you to our 11th Annual Annual ACGC Open Championship Tournament!
The Community Kitchen operates a self-empowering program that addresses the needs of marginalized Calgarians. They continually evolve to meet the changing needs of Calgary, in response to the deepening awareness and understanding of the complex issues of poverty and hunger.
Every season, the members and guests of ACGC participates in a number of events.
The winning team takes home the Ryder Cup Trophy, bragging rights for the a year
Every year, the two teams compete againt each other in an 18 hole tournament for bragging rights. 9 holes are played in the ‘best ball’ format and the remaining 9 holes are played ‘4 ball format’. The winning team is determined by the combined results of all the members of the team who are in different play groups.
ACGC Fedex Tournament is a season-round tournament.
The ACGC Fedex Tournament is a season-round tournament designed to encourage our members to play more and work hard to improve on their abilities and scores. Fedex golf rounds are held most weekends at designated golf courses and participating members acrue or lose points based on their scores for the rounds relative to the known average reference score from the previous season for each player.
Open Championship Tournament is ACGC's main event of the year.
The ACGC Open Championship Tournament is our main event held towards the end of the season. This tournament aims at raising money for an Alberta based Charity Organisation and to crown the ACGC Champion Player of the year.
Win a hole, that's one for you; lose a hole, that's one for your opponent.
The Two Person Team Match Play event is an ongoing single-elimination tournament in which two teams play match play (best ball net, aka Four Ball Match Play), during each round. The winning team advances to the next round. All players must be active members of the ACGC.

The Battle of Alberta Charity Golf Tournament is a one-day event presented by AGCG and our Edmonton counterparts. The two notorious rivals come together with one goal in mind – advancing friendship and camaraderie among its members!
